Overview
FastFoward was a product that did automatic call forwarding for the cellphone that was set in the cradle. One of three special memories would be programmed in the cellphone. When the phone was placed in the cradle, the FastForward unit would send a text message to a server that would cause all calls for the phone to be forwarded by the number specified by the selected memory. A switch in the base of cradle specified which memory to forward to, so one base may be at home, another at work, and another somewhere else.
As I heard it, about 50,000 of these were manufactured.
