Pickle Juice Biscuits

The cookies are called Leposhki iz rosole (Biscuits from Pickle Juice)
Ingredients
- 1 cup of low vinegar content pickle juice (non-pasteurized!)
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of oil (Olive or Sunflower)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 Tbsp spoon of mayonnaise
- 4 cups of flour
Preparation
- Pre-heat oven to 350F
- Combine all ingredients, adding flour last
- Mix only until combined
- Form in hand, small biscuit size
- Bake until lightly brown
Notes
- An ethnic eastern European non-pasteurized pickle juice is best. Pasteurized will result in no leavening action.
